Why I started this blog

When I started this blog, I was working full-time in the resource sector as an Office Manager, running my own sewing business, doing accounts for my partner's business, studying my Certificate IV in Financial Services and doing fun activities with my two children.

I would often get asked by friends, family and colleagues how I had managed to fit it all in and make it work and I found myself repeating the same things over and over again in conversations and emails.

The truth is, it doesn't always work, but it works more often than not. 

Sometimes I feel like I'm totally awesome and managing to squeeze 25 hours into one day. Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning and I need 25 hours in one day. 

Hence the blog title ;o)

We're all busy and I thought that if there were any tips I could share, or if I could offer any reassurance that not every day runs smoothly and that's NORMAL, then I should do it. 

What you'll find on this blog

I try and post fairly regularly, approximately three times a week. I don't have a strict schedule for which days I post or what types of posts I make each day, but in general you'll find a mix of:

Tips for cleaning, organising and time management.

Recipes- some vegetarian and some not. 

Crafts and activity ideas for kids and adults (including scrapbooking/project life)

Posts about printables, stationery, filofaxes, planners etc

Updates of what's going on in our lives

What you won't find on this blog

You probably won't find a lot of sponsored posts. Not because I have any kind of moral objection to them, but I have enough 'jobs' as it is and I really don't want to turn this into a monetised blog and it become another 'job' for me. 

That said, if you have a great idea for a review, giveaway etc that is relevant to this blog, please let me know. I'm not morally opposed, just not champing at the bit. Head over to the PR page for more info.
